Teal Blake Wins Joe Beeler CA Foundation Award at Phippen

Artist Teal Blake was honored with the Joe Beeler CA Foundation Award at The Phippen Museum Western Art Show and Sale on May 29. Formerly called the CAA Founders Award, this honor included a $1,000 scholarship from the Joe Beeler CA Foundation, which supports up-and-coming Western representational artists.

CAs John Coleman, Bill Owen, Dave Powell, Bill Nebeker and Oreland Joe were on hand at the Phippen Museum's Denim to Diamonds Awards Ceremony and Gala to present Blake with the honor.

The CAA gives this annual award to an artist at the Phippen show who exemplifies the quality of work and spirit of the west of the CAA founders. George Phippen, for whom the museum is named, was a founding member of the CAA and its first president.
