CAA member Bill Owen was selected as one of only two contemporary artists invited to have their art on display in The Horse. This long-running, traveling exhibition opened at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City and will exhibit in four other locations: The Field Museum in Chicago; the Abu Dhabi Cultural Center, United Arab Emirates; the San Diego Natural History Museum; and the Canadian Museum of Civilization in Gatineau. The Museum of Western Art in Kerrville, Texas, loaned Bill Owen's 1973 piece, No Place for a Gunsel, to this exhibition from their permanent collection.

Update: Due to the popularity of The Horse, locations have been added and the exhibition will now run through 2013:
